Core Christian Doctrine 1
Core Christian Doctrine is a study in systematic theology, with the first section covering the doctrines of God, the Bible, Christ, the Holy Spirit, and Angels.
Dates: Thursdays | 9:30 - 11:00am | Apr 30 - May 28 (5 Sessions over 5 weeks)

Church History 3
Church History 3 will explore the development of the church’s theology and structure and the spread of the Christian gospel from 1650 A.D. to present day (the Modern Era) with particular emphases on significant events and influential persons and their ongoing impact on the church today.
Dates: Mondays | 6:30 - 8:00pm | April 20 - May 18

Biblical Womanhood
Women are needed to display the image of God. We will examine what it means to have a gentle and quiet spirit, the purpose of Proverbs 31 in our lives, and the unique challenges of being single or married, among other topics. Each meeting will have a teaching time and small group discussions.

Communication & Conflict Resolution
A vital study of biblical texts and principles for personal communication and resolving conflict.

Deepening Disciples
Disciples of Jesus are called to grow in grace and in their knowledge of Him (2 Pet. 3:18). SDI’s courses will deepen your understanding of the Bible, ground you in the essentials of the Christian faith, and strengthen your walk with Christ.
Snohomish Discipleship Institute
Snohomish Discipleship Institute fulfills the mission of SCC by deepening disciples and developing leaders for the glory of Jesus Christ for now and eternity.
Leaders in Training
SDI’s Leaders in Training program is a set of selected courses for training men and women to serve the church in various aspects of ministry leadership. Our goal is to help these servant-leaders be 1) mature in their faith, 2) knowledgeable in the Scriptures, and 3) competent in their efforts to guide and edify others in the church body.
For those wishing to teach and lead ministries at SCC or aspiring to the office of elder or pursuing a Pastoral Residency at SCC, certain SDI courses will especially challenge and equip you to apply biblical truth to ministry and leadership.

Accordingly, the Leaders in Training courses are a little more rigorous in their expectations for attendance and assignments, and those who complete the program will receive the “SDI Certificate in Ministry Leadership.” To join the LIT program, fill out the application below.
