Daniel Resource Center

Thank you for joining us in studying the book of Daniel.

While still just a teenager, Daniel was taken captive and brought to the great city of Babylon. He would not be alone though. God put him with a group of young Israelite nobles, men of royalty (Daniel 1:3-4) and together these young men would face the trial of their lives. Lead by the Spirit of God Daniel would record his harrowing experiences and breathtaking prophecies. Through Daniel's writings we can also see his faithful service to the Lord among a people and culture not his own.

Daniel's writings are as unique as they are profound. They begin with history (chapters 1- 6) but transition to prophecies (chapters 7-12) that contain visions of future events significant to the Jews and the rest of the Church.
